Why PCN Destination Conferences?
For over 25 years, Primary Care Network (PCN), a not-for-profit organization, has been dedicated to impacting healthcare by improving patient care through quality continuing medical education. From live, multi-specialty activities to engaging and innovative on-line offerings, PCN is nationally accredited and manages a network of primary care clinicians, accrediting activities in a wide variety of program formats and therapeutic areas. PCN activities are creative, ethical, free of commercial bias, based on adult learning principles and include achievable practice change opportunities that capture the strength of evidence-based medicine. It is PCN’s goal to develop activities that identify the needs of audiences through a thorough planning process, select the experts and ‘teachers’ who deliver activities directed to enhance knowledge and practice change and increase competencies that provide better patient outcomes.
PCN surveyed our network of primary care clinicians and found there is a need for quality education in enjoyable places. This way primary care clinicians can earn CME credit in the morning and enjoy themselves in the afternoon with family, friends, or colleagues. Primary Care Network has always offered top-quality education, and now we are mixing it with wonderful destination locations.
